We’ve got a minimum of three postseason games this week — what an incredible fall season it’s been! Now it’s time for the postseason push. Here’s the breakdown for our Trojan teams in action:

⚽ Girls Soccer
#7 seed in the Class C Tournament
TODAY at 3:30 p.m. vs. #10 Greene on Cancro Field
When they win, they’ll advance to play #2 Elmira Notre Dame on Saturday

⚽ Boys Soccer
#5 seed in the Class D Tournament
Bye on Tuesday — next up: @ #4 Morris on Friday at 3:30 p.m. (bus departs at 12:00)
When they win, they’ll play again on Tuesday, October 28th (site & time TBD)

There will be prizes for the winners of the games and activities at the dance. There will be a $7.00 admission fee.

find it more convenient, you can now choose to vote at the West Danby Fire Station, 47

We’re kicking off another exciting week in Newfield Athletics! Both of our Varsity Soccer teams have qualified for the Section IV Tournament — congratulations to our athletes, coaches, and families! The seeding meeting takes place Wednesday evening, and brackets will be released Thursday around noon. If neither team earns a first-round bye, the boys will play on October 21st and the girls on October 22nd.

It’s going to be an exciting finish to the fall season — especially with Volleyball Senior Night also scheduled for October 21st. Go Trojans!

While there are no home games this week, we do have a couple of great campus events on Thursday, October 16th:

🧪 Elementary Sciencenter Family Night – 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the Elementary School. Always a fun, hands-on evening of learning and discovery!

💬 Superintendent’s Town Hall – 7:00 p.m. in the Weaver Room. Join Mr. Harper for the third discussion in his Entry Plan series.

🐝 Our students have been busy bees in the Newfield school garden this fall, taking full advantage of the warm sunshine days! 🌞

Kindergarteners explored flowers and homegrown cherry tomatoes, preschoolers built a fence to protect the garden’s fresh veggies from sneaky rabbits, and first graders released monarch butterflies back into nature. 🦋🌸🥕
