Book Club program is Tuesday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Trivia Night is Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Field trip to the Museum of the Earth! Saturday, Aug. 1 at 10:30 a.m (space is limited, contact us to register at 607-564-3594 or newfieldlibrary@gmail.com)
REV Theatre Company will perform "Jack and the Turnip Root" on Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Newfield Methodist Church pavilion.
"Read to Dogs" is Wednesday, August 5 at 3 p.m.
"Lego Night" is Thursday, August 6 at 5 p.m.
"Movie Night" (Jurassic Park, of course!) is Friday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Last Friday was a night to remember as Newfield High School celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026! 🎓🎊
Each graduate was cheered by friends and family as they proudly walked across the stage to receive their diploma. For many of these students, this moment represents the culmination of their journey through all the schools of Newfield!
Following the ceremony, everyone gathered at the front of the high school to celebrate this momentous night.💚

Our Middle School students recently learned about an exciting Summer Reading Program specifically designed for them by Sue Chaffee from the Newfield Public Library!
As part of our district's commitment to literacy, the Middle School Data Team partnered with the library to help students stay engaged in reading and combat summer learning loss. Students were also able to sign up for a library card, giving them access to materials from 33 library systems throughout the Finger Lakes region! 📚

As the culminating experience for Kids Discover the Farm, the entire fifth grade class visited five local farms last week to see firsthand how food is grown, raised, and produced. They finished the field trip at Stone Bend Farm to calculate food miles before making pizzas with ingredients connected to the farms they visited earlier that day, including local pork, flour, and cheese!
Thank you to the local farmers, producers, and businesses who welcomed our students, shared their stories, and helped bring classroom learning to life:

This past Saturday, Sources of Strength hosted its annual Color Run, and the community showed up in full force for a beautiful day filled with fun, support, and color! 🌈✨

After which they walked over to a time capsule activity and then the big moment, they walked through the Elementary School halls, which were filled with cheers and high-fives. The celebration continued as they walked through the Middle School and back to the High School, where the Seniors were welcomed back with pride! 🎉👏
