Newfield Central School District will be utilizing Second Step Social Emotional Learning Curriculum with students and staff this school year. The curriculum was purchased with grant fund from the New York State Office of Mental Health and aims to help our students learn social-emotional skills such as responsible decision-making, working together to solve problems, managing strong emotions, and getting along with others. These skills can help children succeed academically and socially.
