The Newfield Central School District has launched a new Requests for Proposals (RFP) webpage to provide businesses, organizations, and service providers with a centralized location to view proposal opportunities and related documents.
When the district is seeking a service, program, or partnership, it may issue a Request for Proposals (RFP). This process allows qualified organizations to submit information about how they would meet the district's needs, helping ensure a fair and consistent review process. The webpage serves as a central location for these opportunities, along with project details, submission deadlines, required documents, and contact information.
"Creating a dedicated RFP page makes it easier for organizations to learn about opportunities to work with the district and access the information they need to submit a proposal," said Jesse Harper, Superintendent.
The first posting on the page is a Request for Proposal for Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Program Services for the 2026-2027 school year, with optional extensions through the 2028-2029 school year. The district is seeking proposals from eligible organizations interested in providing a full-day UPK program for up to 44 four-year-old students.
Proposals for the UPK program are due by 1 p.m. on June 12, 2026. The contract period begins July 1, 2026 and runs through June 30, 2027, with optional extensions through June 30, 2029.
Organizations interested in submitting a proposal can review the complete RFP, including eligibility requirements, program expectations, and submission instructions, on the district's Requests for Proposals webpage.
Questions regarding the UPK RFP should be directed to Perry Gorgen, Business Administrator, at pgorgen@newfieldschools.org.
