We’re excited to reintroduce the Newfield IT Department — a team that’s here to support our faculty, staff, and students every step of the way. This year, our technology team is moving forward with a renewed mission focused on support, problem-solving, and partnership.
Our team includes Jeffrey Allen, IT Services Coordinator, Jason Keagle, Microcomputer Specialist, and Lauren Rocker, TST BOCES Instructional Specialist for Technology Integration, who recently joined us to help strengthen classroom technology and digital learning. We’ll also be adding a Network Specialist in the near future to round out the team and continue building the strong technology foundation our district deserves.
At the heart of this new mission is a simple idea: technology should make life easier for our staff and students. The IT Department isn’t just here to fix problems — they’re here to help, to listen, and to make sure every issue is resolved for good. You’ll hear the phrase “closing the loop” a lot this year, which means following up and ensuring solutions truly last.
This is more than just a new approach — it’s a commitment to being a partner in progress. The IT Department wants every teacher, student, and staff member to know that no question is too small and no request is ever a bother. They’re here to make our day-to-day work smoother so we can all focus more on what matters most — our students.
There’s plenty of work ahead as we continue improving our infrastructure, software, and hardware, but we’re confident in this team’s ability to lead the way. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Newfield.
