Sunny received the Section 9 SAANY's Administrator of the Year Award last evening in Endicott NY. Awards were also given out for Friends of Education, Assistant Principal of the Year, Elementary Administrator of the Year, and Secondary Administrator of the Year Award, as well as 3 student scholarships. Sunny was the only Administrator who was recognized from our region and from a Rural School. I can not think of a more deserving administrator for this award. Sunny has brought us up to speed with technology in less than 3 years, written over $1.2 million in grants, and works with our students and staff on DEI in Newfield, always putting the needs of children first. Please take time to congratulate Sunny when you see her. She will now move on to be considered for the SAANY's Administrator of the Year award for the entire State.
