VACANCIES FOR 2015-16 SCHOOL YEAR

PE Teacher (LTS) - Currently accepting applications for a long-term substitute Physical Education Teacher. This position has the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a classroom environment that fosters, promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship between health body function and physical fitness. Should also develop strength, skill, agility and coordination in students according to their ability. Ideal candidate must have a passion for teaching students in a rural setting and the ability to excite students about physical education.
ELA Teacher (LTS) - Seeking long-term substitute for English Language Arts. Candidate should be familiar with Common Core Learning Standards and the ELA exam. Anticipated February start date.
CURRENT NON-TEACHING VACANCIES

Teacher Aide - There is currently a vacancy for a part-time, permanent 10-month Teacher Aide who will be responsible for monitoring Prekindergarten students, maintaining and organizing classroom supplies, working closely with the classroom teacher to meet children’s needs, and other duties as may be assigned. The Teacher Aide will work under the supervision of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. This is a new position.
