SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - Seeking a certified special education teacher to provide services to students in grades 9-12 as per their IEP starting December 1, 2014. Permanent full time teaching position. Dual certification a plus. Experience at the high school level preferred. Must have NYS certification in SWD, 9-12 level. COACHES - coaching vacancies for the 2014-15 season in Basketball (Modified Girls) and Softball (JV and Varsity). Must hold applicable certification to coach in NYS.

GROUNDSKEEPER - Duties of this position include helping to maintain school grounds and athletic fields. May also be assigned some maintenance/cleaning duties. This position will fall under the direct supervision of the Facilities and Security Manager. This is a part time, 10-month position. SCHOOL MONITOR - There is an anticipated vacancy for a School Monitor to supervise students during lunch and recess. The person in this position will facilitate a positive climate by supporting social and emotional growth in young people. Prior experience working with students is preferred. This as a labor class, part time 10-month position working under the direct supervision of the building principal. The position is anticipated to be five days per week, 4.25 hours per day. TEACHER AIDE - There is currently a vacancy for a part-time, permanent 10-month Teacher Aide working under the direct supervision of the Childcare Program Coordinator.. This person would be assigned to work in the childcare program (current schedule would be Tues, Thurs and Friday afternoons). Duties include supervising and nurturing children during indoor and outdoor play, naptime and various other activities. Some classroom maintenance and activity preparation are required.
