VACANCIES FOR 2014-15 SCHOOL YEAR
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - Seeking a certified special education teacher to provide services to students in grades 9-12 as per their IEP starting December 1, 2014. Permanent full time teaching position. Dual certification a plus. Experience at the high school level preferred. Must have NYS certification in SWD, 9-12 level. MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER - Seeking a motivated individual to fill a leave position in middle school life science. Appropriate certification necessary. Must be able to provide high-quality science instruction to middle school students in a team-centered environment. CLEANER - There is currently a vacancy for a 10-month Cleaner to work approximately 17.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday evenings. Duties include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices and hallways (sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.). Cleaning experience preferred. This position will be under the direct supervision of the Facilities and Security Manager. TEACHER AIDE - There is currently a vacancy for a part-time, permanent 10-month Teacher Aide to provide academic and behavioral support for students with disabilities as per their IEPs. The individual will need to be flexible and work cooperatively with teacher and students under the supervision of the Director of Special Programs.
