SECRETARY TO THE SUPERINTENDENT - The candidate must have successful experience in Human Resources management and Tompkins County Civil Service regulations. Experience with WinCap is preferred. Other duties include creating monthly newsletters, the district calendar, taking and writing meeting minutes, answer phones, filing, etc. Interested applicants should mail or email a resume to Dr. Cheryl Thomas.
SCHOOL DISTRICT TREASURER - The candidate must have successful experience in accounting and bookkeeping and meet other requirements as outlined in the TC Civil Service job description.
The Newfield CSD is a rural, high needs district in Central NYS that qualifies for the teacher loan forgiveness program.

ELEMENTARY TEACHER - The candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing and implementing the Common Core Learning Standards at the 2nd grade level. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting students' social and emotional wellbeing, teaching math, ELA, reading, science and social studies while creating a welcoming atmosphere for students and their families. SIXTH GRADE MATH TEACHER - Anticipated vacancy. The candidate must have either elementary certification or math 5-9 certification. Expertise in teaching math is required.
SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER - The candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing and implementing the Common Core Learning Standards for Global History and preparing students to be successful on the Global Regents Exam. The candidate may also be responsible for creating or teaching other electives in the social studies tenure area. Apply via OLAS by May 31, 2019.
SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER - The candidate will be responsible for making and maintaining home-school connections for at-risk students, providing IEP counseling, supporting the emotional and social development of students, identifying resources for families and staff, and other duties as assigned. PHYSICS TEACHER - This is a part time (0.2 FTE) position. The candidate must be certified in NYS as a physics teacher and have demonstrated skill in teaching and student success on the Physics Regents exam. Open until filled.

TEACHER AIDE - Position to start in September 2019. Part-time 10-month position to work in classrooms and/or the afterschool programs . Application deadline July 15, 2019.
BUS DRIVER - Position to start as soon as possible. Runs could be from 3 to 15 hours per week, depending on need. Athletic trips and field trips may be available. Application taken on a rolling basis.
