CHILDCARE PROGRAM COORDINATOR - Oversee the before school, daycare and after school programs. Duties include scheduling and supervising staff, planning and conducting activities, and coordinating all program functions such as ordering supplies and billing for services. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. This is a full time, 10-month competitive position with seasonal work anticipated over the summer months. A Civil Service job description is available upon request. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications, including one year of experience in directing childcare programs. If hired, the provisional appointee will be required to take the Civil Service exam at the first opportunity. TEACHER AIDE - Current vacancy exists for a part-time, permanent 10-month Teacher Aide who will be assigned to provide support to special education student(s) in a regular education setting. This is a new position and will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Special Programs. Please complete the Civil Service application via the Tompkins County Personnel website and notify the District Office that you have done so by February 1, 2017.
TEACHER AIDE - Current vacancy exists for a part-time, permanent 10-month Teacher Aide who will be assigned to monitor children in daycare and after school program. This position will be assigned to an afternoon shift (12:00-6:00 p.m.) and will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
